CBD is all the rage right now. In 2021, the CBD market was around $5 billion and projected to reach $47 billion by 2028, at an annual growth of 20% (1). Patients ask me everyday what my thoughts are. The main thought is CBD is not regulated by the FDA, which means you need to find a quality company.

Quality companies get their products 3rd party tested and post on their website for you to see. The other thought to consider when purchasing a CBD product is where did the company get their CBD from, did they grow the hemp or buy it already extracted. If they bought already extracted, how was it extracted and what form did they use (isolate, full spectrum, total spectrum) and where was the hemp grown.
